Saying ‘no’ to freebies.
These promotional items are usually given at a fair, conference, event, or in daily life. Some examples are pens, key chains, water bottles, t-shirts, flyers, pamphlet, etc. we usually accept them without much thought. But these items just add up to the trash and increase waste volume. You can simply refuse and save yourself from hustle later.

Use Hand-Powered Appliances. ?

Unless you need to, use manual kitchen appliances instead of electrical ones. It is not necessary to use an electric can opener when your hand can easily open it just fine. ?

This applies to many other tools in your kitchen. Use a whisk rather than a stand mixer. Use a knife to chop your fruits ? and vegetables. Loud electrical choppers are energy-consuming and take up a lot of space from your kitchen.

Use cloth instead of paper to clean your kitchen.

You may also repurpose old towels & t-shirts and cut them into small cleaning cloth. This will reduce our consumption of paper which leads to fewer trees to cut! ?
